Introducing TechPoint
The Role
The Production Supervisor at TechPoint will lead a team of production operatives in the manufacture of electronic assemblies, PCBs and sub‐assemblies in a fast‐paced environment. They ensure production targets are met in terms of quantity, cost, quality and safety.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Organise and oversee daily operations to meet output, quality and delivery targets.
- Allocate tasks to team members based on the production schedule and skill sets.
- Ensure that all team members understand and follow work instructions, assembly procedures, and quality standards
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving issues
- Support training and development of operatives — coach new staff, reinforce best practices, and monitor performance.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and teamwork.
- Report any delays, issues, or quality concerns to the Production Supervisor or relevant departments.
- Ensure work areas are maintained to 5S standards — clean, organised, and safe at all times.
- Ensure all timesheets are checked and approved
About you
- Prior experience in a production or assembly environment, preferably electronics.
- Proven leadership or team coordination experience.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality standards
- Good communication skills — able to motivate team members and liaise with other departments.
